These homeowners loved their back porch so much that they called in The English Contractor team to make it bigger. Bigger and better. Now doubled in size, the screens let in the breeze, but a two-sided fireplace add warmth and ambiance.
Cozy + Warm
The stained wood flooring and exposed beam, wood ceiling give this screened in porch a feeling of warmth, amplified by the masonry fireplace that can be enjoyed both inside and out.
Favorite Room
It doesn’t seem right to call this space a porch. In fact, it may be the new favorite room in the house. It connects the main house to a garage, which The English Contractor also turned into a bonus room. Wall-mounted heaters keep the space extra warm—making it a great space for even cold days.
Patio Life
The English Contractor team expanded the existing patio, and added new, wide steps up to the porch. The fireplace gives this outdoor space a cozy places to gather on either side.
